First off, of course, new artwork up–this time in the digital gallery!
Second off, sorry for the interruption in postings! I’ll be honest, a rough breakup hit me after a 3 year relationship, but I’ve taken some time to cool off and now I’m back in full swing! Plus, I’m doing more art than ever now. So, updates will resume their Thursday schedule, and are likely to expand to additional updates per week in the future.
Also, you can check me out on Deviantart now! I’ve updated it with some stuff not here. For now, I’ve decided to put my mature works there. I don’t make porn, but some of my artwork may be inappropriate the kiddies.
Now, onto today’s subject! Chaos!
Chaos has long been a rather interesting topic for me. Not “randomness” or “disorder,” which is what most people think of when they think of Chaos, but Chaos as in Chaos Theory, a scientific notion.
Basically Chaos is the harmony of randomness and order. Where rules are applied to otherwise random effects, some interesting patterns can result. These patterns are sometimes called Emergent Order, or an order which was not easy to predict before the system played itself out. Additionally, Chaotic systems can take small differences in initial configurations and amplify them into major differences later on.
Why am I bringing this up? Because my work often deals with Chaos, directly and indirectly. And I’ve got more to say about this in upcoming posts. Stick with me, you’ll like where this is going. And if you don’t, at least you’ll have learned something, eh? Haha.
