Uncanny places, the haze of memory…
What exactly are we? What does it mean to change ourselves? If environment influences who we are, does that mean that we change simply by traveling?
These are some of the questions that have been driving a portfolio I’ve been pulling together. I’m thinking about reorganizing some of my works by portfolio, rather than just medium.
Keep working. Emergent order is the intersection of randomness and order. Messiness can be used to your advantage when creating.
That’s the interesting thing I’ve been noticing. The more I dive into the Rabbit Hole of Art, the more I’ve been noticing that I enjoy working in a sort of controlled messiness. It actually takes longer to get to a tight and/or finished piece if I try to tighten up too early.
